 Beliefs matter! At Emerald Coast Fellowship we stand firm in our commitment to the authority of God's Word for all of life. That means the Bible is our guide to life now and forever.
All of the Bible speaks of God's plan for our lives and His desire to have a relationship with us. Our sin, that is our actions and attitudes that displease God, keep us from Him. Sin is why Adam and Eve got kicked out of the garden, and sin has been the problem ever since. Perhaps the simplest picture of God's plan is found in John 3:16-18.
"For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
We believe that the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is God's only Son. He lived a sinless life dying on the cross and rising from the grave to pay the penalty for your sins and to provide for you a place in heaven. However, God requires that we accept the gift of eternal life by acknowledging who Jesus is and what He did. It may sound complicated, but if you will call to God accepting all you know of God through Jesus Christ and committing all that you know of yourself to Jesus Christ. God will respond in relationship to you.
