Frequently Asked Questions
What is the purpose of the project?
To show love to children affected by the recent hurricanes in the names of Jesus. We know many children lost everything, and we want to bring them some hope this Christmas.
Will there be opportunities to help with the preparations before the packing night on December 11th?
Yes! If you would like to help with unboxing and sorting please get in contact with Priscilla Chavez 850-319-1019
Do we need to purchase the actual shoe box?
No. We have 500 boxes to fill and pack on Wed, Dec 11th. We need the items that go INSIDE the boxes to be donated. However, you may choose to purchase and pack your own.
What goes in the boxes?
Quality toys and a Bible storybook (already been purchased). You can find our shopping lists by scanning the QR codes on the posters.
Will there be different “boxes” for different aged children?
Yes – preschool boys and girls, elementary boys and girls, and gift cards for teenagers
What’s the best way to purchase the items?
Off our suggested wish lists and in bulk
Do we have to purchase items or can we just give financially?
Either option is great! If you purchase items please drop them in the collection bins at the church. If you would like to give financially, you can give on the church website.
What will the “Packing Night” look like?
labeling boxes, packing, stacking inside the Worship Center. Children’s Ministry will be with us, however the preschool will be open.
