It’s that time of year again! We are excited to partner with the Children’s Advocacy Center to help bring joy, warmth, and hope to local families this Christmas season. From December 1st through 19th, we’ll be gathering volunteers to help wrap gifts that will be given to children in our community.
Whether you’re a pro-wrapper with perfect corners or someone who just loves serving with a cheerful heart, we’d love to have you join us! This is a meaningful and hands-on way to be a blessing during the holidays.

What is the schedule for the day?
Sunday, Nov. 5th – We encourage everyone to attend church as normal and come early to set up your tailgate.
8:15AM 1st Service | 9:30AM Small Groups | 10:45AM 2nd Service
12 – 2:30PM Tailgate Sunday
What do I wear that day to church and the Tailgate event?
We are encouraging everyone to wear their favorite team jersey to not only the event but also to church that day! This could be your favorite professional team or even the current school you attend, alumni high school or a local school you affiliate with in the community. Think very casual!
What do I bring to Tailgate Sunday?
Bring what you would typically to set up your own tailgate celebration…lawn chairs, tent, yard games, picnic blankets, etc. Lunch will be provided.
Where do I set up my tailgate?
This year we are setting up by the Wreck (6-plex modulars)
Parking Lots: Paved & gravel lots on the south side of campus (toward Arbor Trace Apartments)
Where do I park if I do not bring a tent or want to tailgate?
Northwest side of campus (near the Pavilion)
North side of campus (between ECF and First Choice)
Will there be any covered seating provided?
Yes, there will be air conditioned seating provided for our senior adults at the Wreck. We are counting on the rest of our church family to provide their own seating by bringing lawn chairs & picnic blankets.
How do I sign up to bring a dish/food item?
Bring your dish/food item in a disposable container with disposable serving utensils. This makes the clean up very simple. There will be a tent set up for serving food. Copy the link to sign up. https://docs.google.com/
May I invite a friend/family?
Yes! Invite your friends and family to the event especially if they are not involved in a local church! It’s a great way for them to be introduced to our church family.
